Alex filmed a PSA along other celebrities as Topher Grace, Rosario Dawson, and Camilla Belle and others, to help get the word out that after the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that took place in Chile.
We are joining forces to bring light to and raise awareness of the many ways YOU can help the country of Chile in their moment of desperation. We couldn’t help but notice, that perhaps giving the timing, or just the circumstances in our industry, that this catastrophe has somehow become just a news article or another topic of conversation. This inspired us to produce a PSA to use as a platform to show the simple ways we can all help the organizations that are providing assistance to the people of Chile.

Not funny, Sookie!
Television Series > True Blood > Season Three > Promotionals > HBO Clipe – Waiting Sucks (Sookie)
Back in March, fans of “True Blood” were introduced to a featurette which teased a scene of Eric bleeding. HBO has now released a new “Waiting Sucks” promo where we got the answer of which Merlotte’s employee dared to shoot the vampire. The shirtless guy in the first promo, however, is not featured in this one.
Surprisingly it’s Sookie who fired the gun and wounded Eric. This would be one question to be answered in the new season which starts June 13. From Alan Ball’s tease and the comic book’s story, it is known that Sookie comes to Eric for a help in finding Bill, thus they are supposed to be on the same team.
“He will continue to explore the whole Sookie thing and what that’s all about,” Alexander Skarsgard said previously about his character Eric. “He’s trying to figure out what’s different about her. He’s intrigued by that. And in addition to that, there’s something that happened a thousand years ago that he’s still carrying in his heart. All I’ll say is he’s trying to avenge someone.”
The vampire series may only air in June, but fans can dwell into the world in a new miniseries which begins May 2 after the second season encores at 8/7c.

Just a quick update to say that thanks to awesome Flor we have this portrait HQ sized. I was dying to have those in better quality, because not enough be an Alex fan, I truly love Juliette since Natural Born Killers. Enjoy the cuteness!

Stefan (voiced by Alexander Skarsgård) and Ivan Bahn (voiced by Udo Kier) in “Metropia”
What attracted you to “Metropia”? What did you think of the “Metropia” script when you got it?
Skarsgård: It was just the two of us [Tarik Saleh and I], basically. It wasn’t animated yet, so I had nothing to watch. It was pretty good, in a way, because it gave us a lot of creative freedom to do whatever you wanted. It’s not about lip synch or hitting certain beats. You could just play around with it and be very creative. If we wanted to change something or just add something, we could do that …Did you know what your character was going to look like before you did the voice work?
Skarsgård: Yeah. Tarik showed me the style of animation, what it looked like. I loved it. Roy Andersson, the Swedish filmmaker who did “Songs From the Second Floor,” I’m a huge fan of his work. And this ["Metropia"] kind of felt like an animated Roy Andersson movie, in a way.Which character in “Metropia” did you identify with the most?
Skarsgård: Stefan, but I think Ivan Bahn [voiced by Udo Kier] is an amazing character. I’m such a huge fan of Udo Kier’s work. [He says in Kier’s voice] “Will there be nudity?” is my favorite line, even before I saw the movie, Tarik played me that. I was like, “Can I hear it again?” The delivery is so cold. I think he’s f*cking amazing in the movie. He really is. [Ivan is] not a very sympathetic character, but very amusing.
Beyond the Pole – A little, independent comedy that Alexander Skarsgård guest starred in has been hitting the film festival circuit by storm. What started as a Facebook effort by director, David Williams late last year has turned into a huge fan effort as well. The Facebook fan page now boasts nearly 5,000 fans and continues to grow every day.
Beyond the Pole was recently screened at the London Independent Film Festival where it won Best Comedy. To date, the film has won eight awards at European and American film festivals, one in every competitive entry.
The film stars Stephen Mangan, Rhys Thomas, Alexander Skarsgård, and Helen Baxendale, who also the executive producer of the film.
The next U.S. screening of Beyond the Pole will be at the Los Angeles United Film Festival on May 1 at 7:00. You can order your tickets HERE. David Williams will be on hand for a Q&A for the screening.
