After filming back to back projects, What Maisie Knew and Disconnect, in New York City, Alexander Skarsgard is headed down south shoot The East.
The movie, which also stars Patricia Clarkson, Brit Marling, and Ellen Page, is expected to shoot in Shreveport from Nov. 2 to Dec. 12.
The East tells the story of a woman who works for a law firm hired by big-businesses types to protect them from radical environmental groups. When she’s ordered by her boss to infiltrate one such group, she falls under the spell of group leader Skarsgard.
As for Skarsgard’s “day job”, True Blood, filming is expected to resume on the series in L.A. in late November.
