Since we all love baby’s daddy (aka Kristin), my friend Tori (who run KristinBauer.net) ask us to promote the project they’re doing to celebrate Kristin’s birthday.
We will be donating for The Amanda Foundation, that as you may know, is a project very close to Kristin’s heart.
From October 26th to November 26th the donation button will be online and open to the fans. We’re hoping to raise 5000$ or more for the Amanda Foundation. There is a giveaway to go along with this project to help raise money. Donors will donate in $10 increments and for every $10 they donate, they will be entered in the giveaway. For every $20 they donate, they’ll have three chances to win.
The prizes are as follows:
Kristin is graciously offering up autographs and copies of her husband Abri’s CD for three people
V-MODA, makers of the True Blood headphone line have agreed to donate a pair of ReVamp Earbuds and a pair of V-80 headphones.
FMCG Manufacturing, makers of the Tru Blood drink will be donating one case of glass Tru Blood and a case of plastic Tru Blood
HoneyCat Cosmetics will also be donating two sets of their vampire beauty products which will include Blood Sudz Shower Gel, Heme Dream Pomagrante Bath Fizzy, and Don’t “B” Negative Body Scrub.
For donating, go over this post at KristinBauer.net to find the paypal button, and also learn more regarding The Amanda Foundation. Thanks very much!
As you have seen, last night’s episode was dedicated to Jesse James Cartwright. Jesse was part of the True Blood transportation crew and lost his life earlier this year, leaving behind his wife and three children. True Blood Staff, Cast and Fans are uniting to raise funds for Jesse’s family.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — SOS Children’s Villages, a global organization dedicated to the long-term care and prevention of orphaned and abandoned children, today announced that Alexander Skarsgard has helped raise over $35,000 for their programs.
Thanks to Mr. Skarsgard’s efforts, the majority of the funds were directly donated through the SOS web site. The auction of two True Blood television scripts on eBay – each one personally annotated and autographed by Mr. Skarsgard – brought in additional funds.
The donations to SOS Children’s Villages were the culmination of a good-natured, fundraising competition between Mr. Skarsgard and fellow True Blood cast member Stephen Moyer. Mr. Moyer’s supporters raised funds for the Gulf Relief Foundation.
“We are so privileged to have Alexander Skarsgard as a supporter of SOS,” said Heather Paul, CEO of SOS Children’s Villages – USA. “His commitment to SOS has raised awareness of the plight of orphaned and abandoned children. Through encouraging his fans to donate to SOS, we have raised thousands of dollars to help many in need, and we are grateful to Alexander for his contributions.”
Mr. Skarsgard’s career in the United States has most recently included a highly popular role as Eric Northman on True Blood. In addition to recently presenting at the Emmy Awards, Skarsgard is filming the movie Battleship, based on Hasbro’s popular board game, scheduled for release in 2012. [Read more...]
This image here was send to me via email, and I think also to everyone who made part of the “Battle of the Fang” campaign on Team Eric as a donor. Our favorite vampire viking may have lost the battle, but it was a total win. And True Blood fans are great, to make it work!
Team Eric has lost the battle.
Congratulations to both The Nest and ASkarsgard.com for the awesome idea and efforts to make it work. Together, both teams raised near U$70.000 for charity.

Happy 34th birthday, Alexander Skarsgård!
Skarsgård Source is here to wish you more success and hapiness.
To celebrate, be sure to go to Skarsgård News Charity Auction, and be part of Battle of the Fang!
Few people would rather give than receive on their birthday, but Alexander Skarsgård is one of them. Alexander’s birthday falls on August 25th and he has requested fans not to send him gifts but instead to put their money where it can help the most.
SkarsgårdNews.com has acknowledged Alexander’s request, accepted the mission, and working alongside Alexander, is coordinating its first charity auction to benefit Alex’s charity of choice, Amnesty International.
Amnesty International is a global organization dedicated to protecting people wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied. They investigate and expose abuses, educate and mobilize the public, and help transform societies to create a safer, more just world. Through Amnesty’s research and action, governments have been persuaded to stop human rights violations and change their laws and practices. Death sentences have been commuted. Torturers have been brought to justice and prisoners of conscience have been released. Public support of SkarsgårdNews.com’s charity auction will help ensure that this important work continues.
The auctions will begin on August the 22nd and last for over 2 months. New items will be presented each week and will be sold before the next item is offered for bidding. The first item on the block was donated by Celeb4ADay.com and consists of the “A-List Package.” It is specifically intended for either Los Angeles residents or those traveling to the LA area. It can also be gifted to someone who fits the geographical criteria.
This item was inspired by Lady GaGa’s “Paparazzi” music video in which Alex portrays her murderous boyfriend. The “A-List Package” offers the winning bidder a unique A-List celebrity experience which includes 4 paparazzi photographers following you to your destination be it a night club or grocery shopping, shouting questions, taking pictures, vying for your attention, begging for one more photo, just like Alexander encounters whenever he runs to the store to buy milk. While his paparazzi experience is unending, yours will last 30 minutes.
The best part, you’ll have your own tabloid cover with headlines custom made just for you and a DVD containing pictures of your experience to share. Warning – bodyguard not included, neither is the murderous boyfriend!
Other items available will include: autographed memorabilia, original art, jewelry, True Blood merchandise, rare items, and other pieces unique to Alex’s career. Alexander Skarsgård himself has donated several personal items to be auctioned off.
We at SkarsgårdNews.com are excited to host what we hope will be the first of many such events that allow the fans to help where it’s needed most. So check in frequently and bid often at SkarsgårdNews.com.Auction main page: http://skarsgardnews.com/?page_id=6723
