I’ve added a few pictures of Alex on set today with lovely Onata, and some others from last August 26th. Wondering why the dearest sources of mine have stopped posting HQ sized pictures, but still, let’s hope them to surface again anytime soon.

Straw Dogs is coming in theaters next September 16. Will you let them in?
The October issue of Empire magazine has a page featuring Straw Dogs, in which they talk about some differences between Rod Lurie’s version vs the original one. You can find scans up in the gallery, thanks to my friend @RobJacko who takes his time to scan it for us.

Busy much?
Alexander just joined a new project, a movie named Disconnect, a Henry Alex Rubin’s indie drama.
Rubin, who previously directed the award-winning documentary “Murderball,” makes his feature directorial debut with the film. Andrew Stern (“Return to Me”) wrote the script, which follows a large ensemble of characters who are affected — and in some cases destroyed — by the Internet and other forms of modern communication.
Skarsgard will play a former Marine who’s struggling to make ends meet and is emotionally cut off from his wife, prompting him to seek an affair.

SkarsgardNews has confirmed that Alex will be attending the Melancholia presentation at TIFF festival this year. According to festival official page, Melancholia is scheduled to Saturday, September 10 with a second screening at Saturday, September 17.
TIFF will be run from September 08 until September 18.
I know I already had this added, but today my friend Celyn has sent me some great HD sized screencaptures of “13″, the Géla Babluani movie that has Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Michael Shannon and Sam Riley on cast.
I forgot to post this video earlier. Alex was caught on set for “What Maisie Knew”:
I have a bunch of new pictures that will probably be added tomorrow.
Alexander Skarsgard is in talks to join Brit Marling in The East, a thriller Marling co-wrote with her The Sound of My Voice collaborator Zat Batmanglij, who is directing.
While plot details are hazy, the story revolves around a female agent who infiltrates an eco-terrorist group. The title of the movie refers to the group’s name.
If a deal comes together, Skarsgard would play the leader of the group who seeks revenge against unethical corporations. Michael Costigan of Scott Free Prods. is producing the movie, which is eyeing a tentative Nashville shoot in October and November.
Fox Searchlight, which released Marling’s Another Earth and is opening Sound of My Voice, will likely distribute the film.
